I love learning about light, colour, reflectivity, and shadows. My first interests were landscapes, flowers, and insects. But capturing the expressions, character, and "soul-ishness" of people has become my passion.

My preference is to catch people as they naturally are, but that does not always happen. Thankfully, my wife specializes in posing and arranging, and she brings a dimension of vitality and warmth to the photos that we have to arrange. I'm grateful for her willingness to help, and her talents in this particular area!
